They age, eat, sleep, work, fall in love, make mistakes, and try to make sense of a world far stranger than they realize.
Most humans have no knowledge of the supernatural. Strange events are often dismissed as coincidence, folklore, urban legends, misunderstandings, or things better left unexplained. Even in places where supernatural activity is more common, few people ever see enough to challenge their understanding of the world.
As a result, most humans live ordinary lives, unaware of the hidden forces, creatures, and phenomena that exist alongside them.
Unlike other supernatural beings, humans are not bound by hunger, instincts, ancient legacies, or strange transformations. They can live their entire lives without ever learning the truth of the world around them—or find themselves drawn into it through curiosity, circumstance, tragedy, or simple bad luck.
Despite lacking supernatural abilities, humans remain remarkably adaptable. They build communities, preserve knowledge, create families, and continue moving forward even when confronted with things they cannot fully understand.
The vast majority of the world is human.
The supernatural exists around them, not above them.
